It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since Apple released the the iPhone. To mark the anniversary and to keep upping the bar, Apple has announced the iPhone 3G. Started at $599 for an 8GB iPhone and is now $399. The iPhone 3G 8GB will go for $199. A 16GB version is available for $299 and this model only is available in white (sweet). Available for purchase July 11th .
Most significant is the increased off wi-fi network internet speeds. 3G browsing is 2.8X faster than on the Edge network. The battery life is impressive (300 hours of standby, 10 hours 2G talk-time, 5 hours of 3G talk-time, 5 to 6 hours of high-speed browsing, 7 hours of video, 24 hours of audio). –Via Mac Rumors Live

also sick from the keynote was the introduction of mobileMe by Apple. Now you can add a contact, schedule a meeting, add a picture and it syncs accross devices, mobile online and computer (mac or pc) automatically. For organizational freak mac users, this is for you.

Arron, I’m pretty sure that’s a technical. In fact just saying it might send him to the line.
