A new set of aluminum MacBooks were the center of attention at today’s keynote. The laptops feature glass multi-touch trackpads, improved graphics performance and a seamless aluminum enclosure. Prices start at $1299. For those interested, the white MacBooks picked up a superdrive and had their price reduced to $999.

Seeing the laptops up close, one feature was bothersome. The screens have a high gloss finish which contributes to screen glare.
