Belgian illustrator Raphael Vicenzi has his work grazing the covers of fashion, illustration, and computer arts publications world wide. His work caught our eye in Illusive 2, a collection of some of the hottest contemporary illustration. He’s released a series of espadrilles through String Republic. We especially dig his unique use of custom typography. This self taught illustrator often portrays a very dark subject with a mixture of humor and sensuality.

French graphic artist Stephane Bucco aka Socko, has taken his love of photography and illustration to creating a hybrid of hip and polished work. Bucco’s projects span from poster design for indie artists The Kills to the creation of String Republic, a fashion line consisting of mod espadrilles and graphic print apparel which he launched in 2004. His clothing line has captivated France and has been shipped world wide.
