One of our favorite photographers these days is Brooklyn based artist Peter Beste. He’s best known for his work with bands in the Nowegian Black Metal scene. This odd European subculture of music is kind of like the speed metal of the early nineties, but with people actually killing each other. Kind of like gansta rap but with goth kids. Oh wait, did we mention Beste did a fantastic series on the Houston Crunk scene as well? Yeah, check out his work for yourself. He’s just released the Japanese edition of his book, which comes with a card board sleeve you can unfold into a cross and hang upside down on your wall.
