Finally, a desk which who’s elegance makes the iMac feel right at home. It doesn’t get much more minimal modern than this. This would look great in a reception area or gallery. Height-adjustable. The desk is made of MDF. Standard finish: white high lustre varnish. All desks are individually numbered.

Jasper Morrison and Vitra never dissappoint. As we become increasingly mobile so grows the need for impromptu workspace. The NesTable is a clever update on the TV tray. Not only is the height adjustable, the angle of the surface is as well. The design seems to take a certain amount of inspiration from the design of traditional music stands. The NesTable even promises to make working from a lounge chair or sofa ergonomic. Here’s to that.

We picked up this sexy lil’ router the other day after our apple base-station took a dive. And, aside from looking so friggin’ cool, was the easiest setup we’ve ever encountered. Complete with 4 gigabit ports, an LED screen displaying what devices are on your network and, subsequently, how much bandwidth they’re pulling, this router finally answers that age old question; ‘Which roommate’s computer is downloading all those torrents?’ That, and we can FINALLY surf the internet on that hammock in the front yard.

Art. Lebedev Studio has created a rather interesting prototype for a keyboard. Each key contains an LCD capable of displaying whatever graphics you like on a key. When you hit shift, letters on the keyboard change case. When using applications such as Photoshop, the keys can display the icons of tools on the appropriate shortcut keys (illustrated below). Apparently production has been in the works for a while but the keyboard is slated for release in March. Presale orders are being taken here for $462.

Louise Campbell produced this prototype for Stelton. It consists of fourteen different storage units. The design is intended to organize the many items we use for work. It also facilitates moving items from place to place through a series of portable containers. For the obsessive compulsive desk stackers out there, this is a way to create neat little sculptures on your desk. A rubber band holds the container closed and a groove for the rubber band ensures that the outside remains flush.
