Friday May 23rd marked the launch party for Weezer’s new music video Pork and Beans, the first single off their self titled “Red Album,” out June 3rd.

With a little help from a slew of YouTube viral video celeb’s, director Mathew Cullen Motion Theory co-founder, has put together a montage of the most famous video’s e-mailed, instant messaged, and YouTubed in the past 5 years. I was pleasantly surprised each time an obscure viral star popped onto the screen, and when I didn’t recognize a clip all of my friends jumped at the chance to expose me to a video tens of millions of people had already watched.

Note: This video showed up on YouTube late Friday, as of mid Sunday the video had already been viewed over two million times in various forms. How’s that for low cost advertising.
