Street Artist Eine

Street artist Eine’s work can be found in London, Stockholm, and Paris among other cities. His unique mix of graffiti and typography is appears most typically on closed storefront shutters. His approach began with a row of four storefronts on Kingsland Road. Each shutter was painted with one letter of his name. Eine’s mix of color, vintage type, and texture is very well done.

Those in London can see a collection of his work at the Kemistry Gallery which will be shown through September 15th. Of particular interest are the “concrete paintings” shown. To produce these, concrete is applied to painting canvases. The surface is then illustrated upon. – Via Creative Review
