Heather Mae Erickson says that she’s challenging the way we perceive the dining ritual. We completely agree. Her foundations stem from her time studying at Helsinki and Cranbrook. Her work, while inspired by Finnish designs, is pushing the aesthetics of the dining experience. Architecture, spacial, and environmental design are all referenced in these unique handmade pieces. With intricate patterns created by servers, compotes, and comets, these complex settings enhance the way we encounter cuisine.
