This video for French artist Yelle incorporates footage of a dance movement which is apparently taking France by storm. Some say it has its roots at a Paris club called Metropolis but rumors fly. Tecktonik seems like a new hybrid of a few styles and it’s refreshing to see new blood making its way on the dance floor. On the flip side, “Tecktonik” is a registered trademark and Metropolis is legally enforcing its rights to the name. Apparently even dance movements are now becoming brands.
