Ashi Dashi: Rock Out With Your Sock Out

They had us with their tag line alone. It also doesn’t hurt that these guys are stylizing the least expected accessory, socks. No one said it better than Nathan Lane in the movie The Birdcage, “One does want a hint of color.” So often we put too much effort on our outer footwear when it could be our inner footwear that makes the difference. Ashi Dashi, translated as stick out your feet, is bringing us sassy footwear with a splash of humor. Evidenced by lines like “Kick the Habit” and patterns modeled after the human intestine. Launched just a week ago, Ashi Dashi is off to a great start.

It looks like there are no stores currently carrying the Ashi Dashi line. The company is rather new so I’m sure they’ll get picked up in no time. For now the place to get these slick socks is at the Ashi Dashi web store.

As mentioned prior, the socks are only for sale online as of right now, but Im sure Ken would love to hear from anyone with suggestions or connections in the retail arena.
