For those in the Los Angeles area and especially those on the west side, the annual Abbot Kinney Festival goes on today from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM in Venice. Abbot Kinney Blvd will be closed to traffic from Main St. to Venice Blvd to accommodate 3 stages of live music, dancers and performance artists, a family courtyard, traditional festival and ethnic foods, beer garden, green living area and over 300 vendors featuring original, handcrafted goods.

“The ‘Connected’ Green Lifestyle Area is an exciting new addition to the festival this year. Unlike other green initiatives, the intent of Pink Cloud’s ‘Connected’ is to shift the focus from products to people and showcase ‘green’ not as a trend, but as a firmly grounded movement supported by people who demonstrate their care for the environment and the community.” says Elisa James, President of the Abbot Kinney District Association.
