Tokyo based designer, Shohei sits at the the intersection of graphic design, illustration, and pop art. His iconic imagry and wildly vibrant palates explode from his body body of work, breaking up rising sun reds and black ink gradation. Using Japanese cultural reference as a backdrop, Shohei often focuses on a singular subject in detail with subdued overall compositions.

Baltimore based artist Christine Buckton Tillman produces pieces that are intimate and personal. Her work is often no larger than a regulation size paper, yet it is emotive and light hearted while and at the same time powerful. Splashes of color coupled with hand drawn grid work recall intricate needle work and traditional textiles. You can pick up a piece for yourself here.
