Ditte Hammerstrom is pushing contemporary Danish design to new limits. Her approach is unconventional yet all of her pieces capture a timelessness that, today, is so uncommon. The Wrinkle chair set really captures the poise and grace that is characteristic of Hammerstrom’s lines. Here hints of mid century Danish design are enveloped by the simple pleated cloth covering. Hammerstrøm was educated at The Danish School of Design, Copenhagen and also studied at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London.
