Tanya Aguiñiga is a Los Angeles based furniture designer and maker. She was raised in Tijuana, Mexico and considers her cross cultural experiences to be a major influence on her work. Her company, Aguiñiga Design, came up these stacking tray seats. They provide hideaway seating and a way to socialize while casually of lounging on the floor. Keep an eye out for her “Texture Forest†at the Children’s Museum of San Diego, scheduled to open next month. Thanks to Zack for the tip.
