For those who have never experienced the beauty of traditional graphic design methods, or those who just want to be re-inspired, this video is worth checking out. There is an elegance to the mechanical and the physical qualities of letterpress. The sad thing is that these techniques are being forgotten.

Go letterpress! Once you touch the type, you wont put it down! It’s sad to see such wonderful technologies become obsolete and forgotten, but I am proud to live in the NorthWest where letterpress and printmaking is appreciated by so many. Keep it real people, keep letterpress alive!

As a Printmaker, I drool at this wonderful video. Thanks for helping us remember and reflect and not get “out of sorts” As a father whose daughter is about to teach a course in Typography, I forward this to her. I know she will love it and share it. Thanks! What else in the artist’s world are we forgetting?
