The recent upsurge in high design baby accessories is a response to the incredible popularity of bands such as Maclaren and Dwell Studio. While these companies have largely limited their lines to parenting accessories, Danish born multi-disciplinary Henrik Vibskov has tapped his background in fashion design creating a line that is as much a luxury for Mom (or Dad) as it is functional for baby.
Quinny is being called a support system for urban moms as ease of use was paramount in the design of the entire line. I was most truck by the use of pattern in the items, which is characteristic of Vibskov’s past collections for men and women. While one can’t obtain these directly from retailers here in the US many of the European retailers will gladly ship to the US…for a nominal fee of course.
