Car enthusiasts start your engines. The Michelin Design Challenge is an annual contest committed to advancing functional and stylistic concepts in the automotive industry. This year’s challenge, to create vehicles with advanced safety features, higher driver visibility, and better traffic integration (ie, wheels that can turn 90 degrees can park tighter and avoid bumper damage). Winners will be announced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit January 7-21, 2007.
