Phaidon has recently released the biography of Le Corbusier. This giant sized reference volume is absolutely packed with candid images, sketches, and photographs of his many works. Le Corbusier Le Grand documents the life of the self named architect, designer, and urbanist. One of the most interesting aspects of this book is the in depth detail of his many theories on urban planning, the documents they have collected, and an over view of this approach to design and architecture.

The Royal Institute of British Architects is currently running an exhibition on the career of Le Corbusier. The exhibition will run until January 18, 2009 and is being held at the The Crypt Metropolitan Cathedral in Liverpool.
