These speakers were designed by Neil Poulton for LaCie. Neil is a Scottish designer who currently works out of Paris. You have probably seen his lighting designs for Artemide. These speakers use a FireWire cable to simultaneously deliver sound and power to the speakers so you have fewer wires to deal with. The speakers work on Windows or Mac and sell for $99.
