We were lucky enough to make it to Cut & Paste last saturday night and were totally blown away. For those who don’t know, Cut & Paste pits four designers against each other DJ battle style. Each contestant gets fifteen minutes to create a piece on a specific topic. The work was projected on to one of two giant screens for the viewing pleasure of a packed house at the Henry Fonda theater in Hollywood.
Cut & Paste has already visited New York, Boston, Portland, San Francisco, Chicago, and is on it’s way to London next, then Berlin and Tokyo. Congrats to LA designer supreme Chris Haycock who battled his way to victory at Cut & Paste’s LA event. Be sure and check out our flickr feed for a better view of the action, and Cut & Paste’s website for a schedule of upcoming events.
