The Black Maria Gallery is hosting the work of Brooks Salzwedel in “Modern Soil” through July 26th. His use of found pieces in conjunction with graphite and resin further define the over all theme of the show. Each piece depicts nature and industrial developments as both dark and ethereal.

Saw one of the belt buckles with a skull and what looked like gold foil incorporated in. It was hot.
