575 DENIM / MAY 75 is a unique California jean for both men and women, who share the same laid back Los Angeles lifestyle. This vintage inspired denim line, was dreamed up by founder and head designer, Frank Mechaly. Once referred to as, “The Perfection of Jean”, 575 Denim / May 575 is currently in the middle of perfecting its own identity.

“We wanted to come up with something which was related personally to me and my life. This is the reason that we decided to call it, years ago, 575 DENIM, standing for my birthday, which is May 1975,” said Mechaly. “..even though clear to us, most customers could not make the connection!”

An extreme favorite among a laundry list of celebrities, including Cameron Diaz, Keith Urban, Britney Spears, Jessica Alba & Johnny Depp, who helped them break out as one of the top four jeans brands for celebrities during the 2006 Sundance Film Festival according to Hollywood Life Magazine.
