Olivia Malone is a Los Angeles born New York photographer. In browsing through her site, a few images stood out. The image above is a favorite. It’s especially impressive how the colors of the brick, the clothing, and the model interact and influence one another. The purple tones of brick in the lower left and the four red bricks behind the model seem precisely placed and every part of the image is interesting to look at.

Swiss watch maker Rado has commissioned Jasper Morrison to restyle their Ceramica Chronograph in celebration of the company’s 50th anniversary. The series features new dials and proportions and comes in a special black leather packaging. The five versions of the watch were produced with differing metal alloys were each limited to ten pieces.

Brazilian Carlo Giovani is both the name of a designer illustrator and a studio which he is a part of. Some of the most interesting work involve illustrated paper models which are then arranged into scenes and photographed or animated through stop motion. It is this cross disciplinary approach which results in fresh feeling work.

Dogs and lasers? OMFG, can you get anymore awesome than that? This video for “Birds” by Vitalic was made by Parisian art collective Pleix who also boast a roster of videos including for artists like Basement Jaxx and Groove Armada and Chased by Cowboys, just to name a few. We could stop watching music videos altogether now because seriously, how do you top this? Though in all fairness, you should check out their site and view the rest of their equally strange/amazing work.

Reed Danzgier has quite the artistic process. According to her site, she will research patterns, textures and stylistic elements before starting a piece. Once Danziger has found what she’s looking for, she works in tandem on 8-12 paintings at once. It’s always nice when you can be prolific and talented at the same time.

We’re suckers for good type and we love music as well, so when we found Yuxt’s collection of typographic music videos we were sold in about a nanosecond. You can even select autoplay after clicking the first video and enjoy the shuffle that was bookmarked on Yuxt.

We went to a show last night, and as we glanced over at the guy standing next to us, we noticed his shirt was lit up and bumping to the music. The T-Qualizer is a shirt with an LED screened on it and a sound sensitive battery pack that fits in your pocket. The LED film is bendable and apparently you can wash it as well (though we’d guess a hand wash is probably the way to go).We doubt that this is something you’d want to wear around all day, but if you’re at a club you will not stop drawing attention. We found them in several places, but this looked like the best deal.
